Our work
CurrentCast highlights the importance of water stewardship and sustainability in the Great Lakes and surrounding watersheds. This radio program and podcast is a project of the Center for Transformative Action, an affiliate of Cornell University. It is produced in partnership with Cornell University’s Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future.
Climate Connections is a nationally-syndicated radio series about climate change. CBDM writes, produces and distributes Climate Connections to more than 700 radio stations on behalf of the Yale Center for Environmental Communication.
This transmedia project teaches students about Japanese American incarceration during World War II. CBDM staff directed and co-wrote the narrative film, and provided project management and oversight for the development of the educational website and its multimedia components. The project was produced by Full Spectrum Features.
On behalf of the Yale Center for Environmental Communication and Voces Verdes, CBDM produced and distributed a series of pre-recorded radio public service announcements about climate change in both English and Spanish. The goal of the campaign was to reach Latino listeners in eight U.S. markets and direct them to a website where they can learn more.
On behalf of the nonprofit EcoMyths and PepsiCo Recycling, CBDM produced a series of ten videos demonstrating DIY craft projects that can be created using recycled bottles and cans. The videos supplement information provided to teachers in PepsiCo’s Recycle Rally newsletter.
